The purpose of Lighthouse Ranch is to heal the broken lives of young men through therapeutic guidance methods and a ministry of love and caring.

By this means, scores of young men have seen the bitter become sweet, the wounded and hurting healed, the angry and distraught have found peace in renewing of the Holy Spirit.

Boys who have belonged to gangs, been bound by drugs, alcohol and tobacco, and filled with bitterness and hate have been changed completely. What a wonder it is to see boys who come with troubles find comfort and peace in the presence of the Lord at the Ranch.

The Smiths bring a wealth of experience to this position. An ordained minister, Danny has been involved in pastoring, missions, church finance and leadership. He was a school principal and has a strong background in administration, executive management, and fund raising for non profit organizations. The Smiths are strong advocates for traditional family values and have been active in strengthening family ties among today’s families. It is their vision for the Lighthouse Ranch to remain a force for rehabilitation and salvation for the boys whose lives somehow turned down the wrong street, made the wrong choices and now need another chance in life.
